Am I Missing Something?

This morning I fixed Preston one of his favorite breakfasts – pancakes and bananas. After finishing round one, he immediately went into panic mode. The kid freaked; breathing heavily, brows furrowed, lip out and nearly screaming...

MOMMY!!! MORE PANCAKE!!! MORE NANA!!! MORE PANCAKE!!! MORE NANA!!! MORE PANCAKE!!!! MORE NANA!!!!

I couldn't move fast enough. But within minutes, Preston was granted another pancake and a large chunk of newly peeled banana. Immediately Preston's demeanor changed and the calm was instantaneous...

THANK YOU, MOMMY.
ALL DONE.

Huh? Two-year-olds are weird.

Well I guess your son is a massiva fan of your homemade pancakes! I would take it as a complement :)

Hi there! I found your blog the other day and just wanted to say hello... I'm about 10 weeks along and since I'm an avid blog-reader, I wanted to find more that were "baby" and "mom" related... I'm also a graphic designer so I immediately thought, "how cool is this!"... =)

May I ask you a question? How was the transition from working full-time to staying-at-home? That is my goal in life, but feel my hubby will feel otherwise... If there's a post where you discussed this already, let me know...

Feel free to email me since I don't want my hubby to see your comment on my blog (just in case)... Thanks and bunch! =)

My daughter is 21 months old, and I have started noticing that at almost 2 years old, she has some crazy mood swings *sigh*.

I agree with Cindy, your son must be a huge fan!

Pancakes are a way of life in our house. Sadly, my daughter doesn't like them at all. I guess the pancake gene is recessive or something.

I don't know if the weirdness gets any better. My nephew will be 4 in October and is the strangest, moodiest child I have ever met!

At least he loves your pancakes!

Pass some this way please! :)
